I salute you, you great man and your great company

I’ve spent a lot of money on Steam games, to the point where I could be fine without getting a new game for the next several years. I regret none of it. They really have digital distribution down, a feat rarely matched. This is in addition to being a game company with the same track record of excellence as pre-Activision Blizzard.

A shame the rest of the content industry is so brainless. It’s like they don’t want people to buy their stuff, by making it difficult, cumbersome, expensive and untrustworthy.

These things hate lenses and collarbones.

It’s pretty awesome to have a new lens. I can’t wait to try it out.

My 28-70mm Sigma, a lovely f/2.8 deal, apparently lost a bearing or something. It works, but it’s like it’s stuck and unlubricated when you twist the zoom. It was run over by a motorbike in Bermuda several years ago, and I had a feeling this would happen at some point. Parts have been falling out for the past year.

So I got a Nikon 18-55 VR. Now I can finally use a true wide angle with this 1.5x crop sensor. Still has a 52mm filter, too!

I don't watch TV.

I’ve been kicking myself for not having done anything with this site in ages. I’ve got a new simple front page, and I’ve got a lot of photos I want to put back up. We’ll see what happens.
